Job Description

Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a RN Progressive Care who will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The role involves both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as well as advocating for an unparalleled patient experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting any changes in status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree in nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Experience in patient care, particularly in cardiac care and post-operative scenarios
