Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care unit. This role involves coordinating and delivering patient-centered care, particularly for cardiac and medical-surgical patients, while working collaboratively with medical providers. Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes
  • Perform procedures as ordered by the medical provider
  • Document the administration of care in the patient's medical record in a timely manner
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in patient care

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment
  • Patient advocacy and care management skills
  • Experience in cardiac care and medication administration
