Job Description

Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an RN Progressive Care who will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves collaboration with medical providers to provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while serving as an advocate for patients to enhance their experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in status
  • Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment
  • Experience in patient care, nursing, cardiac care, and medication administration
