Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an RN Progressive Care who will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. This role emphasizes the importance of advocacy for patients to support an exceptional patient experience, allowing nurses to have a voice in their practice and the healthcare community.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes
  • Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree in nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in patient care, nursing, and cardiac care
