Job Description

Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a RN Progressive Care to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The position involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and serving as a patient advocate. Nurses at HCA Healthcare are encouraged to have a voice through various councils and programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in status.
  • Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document care administration in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in patient care.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
