Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an RN for their Progressive Care unit. The role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, while serving as an advocate for patients. Nurses at HCA Healthcare are encouraged to participate in various councils and have a voice in patient care practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days)
  • Patient advocacy
  • Medication administration
  • Medical documentation
