Overview

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, the RN will coordinate pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers and advocate for patients to enhance their experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and shift changes
  • Report any changes in patient status to medical providers
  • Document care administered in the patient medical record
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 90 days)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (within 90 days)
