Job Description

Overview

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care unit. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and advocating for patients and families to ensure positive clinical outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient conditions during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes.
  • Perform procedures and functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic responses.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate patient needs.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • At least 1 year of RN experience preferred
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
