Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs and LPNs for private duty homecare positions in Coalville, Utah. The Nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while demonstrating the ability to make effective clinical judgments under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions based on identified priorities and patient care standards
  • Revise the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan of care
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Perform other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for Utah
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year of prior Nurse experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
  • Enteral feeding
