Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs for private duty homecare positions in Pleasanton, CA. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, demonstrating clinical judgment, and collaborating with healthcare team members under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare members
  • Documents patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Performs nursing interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revises the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan
  • Establishes priorities using clinical judgment in evaluation activities
  • Performs other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Nurse experience preferred
