Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs for private duty homecare positions in Merced, California. The role requires making clinical judgments under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services and involves providing comprehensive patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team and documents nursing diagnoses
  • Documents patient care plans and expected outcomes
  • Performs nursing interventions according to priorities and plan of care
  • Revises plans of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Establishes priorities to meet patient care needs
  • Performs other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License in the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Nurse experience preferred
