Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Registered Nurses for private duty homecare positions in Indio, California. The role requires the ability to make clinical judgments and provide comprehensive patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Perform other RN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior nursing experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
  • Enteral feeding
