Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs for private duty homecare positions in Indio, California. The role requires making clinical judgments and utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in the medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs on the assigned unit
  • Complete other RN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Nurse experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
  • Enteral feeding
  • Communication skills
