Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care while demonstrating clinical judgment and accountability throughout the nursing process. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a private duty setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to evaluate activities and meet patient care needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance
  • Ability in patient care, clinical judgment, assessment, care planning, and documentation
