Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and ensure effective clinical judgment under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. The RN will be responsible for applying the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members
  • Document the patient's plan of care using nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plan
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of prior RN experience preferred
  • G-tube care
  • Patient care assessment and documentation
