Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care by utilizing the nursing process. The RN will make clinical judgments and deliver care under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services, ensuring assessment and intervention planning is tailored to patient needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document patient’s plan of care and nursing diagnoses
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and policy
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and patient condition changes
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Complete other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
