Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to take on the responsibility of applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in Providence, Rhode Island. The RN will make clinical judgments and document patient care while working under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care with identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions based on priorities and plan of care
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in the medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs
  • Complete other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
  • Clinical judgment
  • Patient care documentation
  • Healthcare assessment and critical thinking skills
