Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and apply the nursing process effectively. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members
  • Document patient care plans using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise plans of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs on assigned units
  • Perform other RN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior RN experience preferred
