Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to take on responsibilities related to the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in Knoxville, TN. The RN will be expected to make clinical judgments and work collaboratively under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare members
  • Documents the patient's plan of care and nursing diagnoses
  • Performs interventions according to priorities and plan of care
  • Revises the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan
  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Assumes other nursing duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
