Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to take on responsibility for patient care and the application of the nursing process. The role involves making clinical judgments and working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document nursing diagnoses and patient care plans
  • Perform nursing interventions according to care priorities and plans
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changing conditions
  • Establish priorities and meet patient care needs for the assigned unit/floor
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
