Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee patient care through the application of the nursing process. The role emphasizes clinical judgment and efficient decision-making under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in the medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs and establish priorities
  • Perform other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
