Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in Charlton Heights, WV. The RN will be responsible for applying the nursing process and delivering quality patient care, demonstrating clinical judgment, and ensuring effective communication under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients' conditions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses.
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies.
  • Revise plans of care based on evaluations and changes in medical treatment.
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs on assigned units.

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Clinical judgment and nursing process expertise
