Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to take responsibility for patient care by applying the nursing process. The RN will demonstrate clinical judgment under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and patient care standards
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in the medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment to evaluate patient care needs and establish priorities
  • Complete other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
