Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and manage nursing processes in Charleston, WV. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing clinical judgment to respond to changing patient conditions under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document patient plans of care using nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to the care plan and hospital policies
  • Revise care plans based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs on the assigned unit/floor
  • Complete other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
