Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pediatric private duty nursing care in Charleston, WV. The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and make clinical judgments under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare members and documents nursing diagnoses
  • Documents the patient’s plan of care using nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes
  • Performs interventions according to established priorities and hospital policies
  • Revises the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical needs
  • Uses clinical judgment to evaluate and meet patient care needs on the assigned unit
  • Performs other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
