Overview

StaffHealth is seeking Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) to join their team in Escanaba, Michigan, offering immediate openings and same-day pay. These positions provide flexible scheduling with options for part-time, full-time, and long-term contracts, aimed at delivering high-quality patient care alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted and assure appropriate implementation of physicians' plans of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current LVN/LPN state licensure
  • Current physical
  • MMR vaccine
  • Current PPD
  • Valid CPR certification (BLS or equivalent)
  • 1 year of experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to work well in teams
