Overview

Adelphi Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on a house supervisor role in Newport, Oregon. This contract/travel position requires strong clinical and leadership skills and involves varied shifts with a pay rate of $2,182 for a 36-hour assignment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and provide clinical oversight to nursing staff across units during shifts.
  • Coordinate patient flow including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Act as the administrator-on-duty to handle operational issues and staff concerns.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide hands-on support as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Assess staffing needs in real time and reassign personnel as necessary.
  • Support frontline teams with problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Document incidents and communicate updates to leadership.

Required skills

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • 2-3 years of acute care nursing experience
