Overview

Maxim Healthcare is looking for an RN or LPN for private duty nursing in Daytona Beach, Florida. The role involves responsibility for patient care using the nursing process, requiring clinical judgments and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members.
  • Document patient care plans using nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and hospital policies.
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and medical changes.
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs.

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior nursing experience preferred
  • Enteral feeds management
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
