Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an RN or LPN for the delivery of private duty nursing care, applying the nursing process and making clinical judgments under the direction of the Clinical Manager. The role involves assessing patient conditions, documenting care plans, and performing nursing interventions based on established priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members for nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to the plan of care and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plans
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs
  • Perform other assigned RN or LPN duties

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the relevant state
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Nurse Experience preferred
  • Enteral Feeding
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilator Management
