Overview

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an RN or LPN for private duty nursing in Cibolo, Texas. The role involves responsibility for delivering patient care through the nursing process, making clinical judgments, and collaborating with healthcare team members under the supervision of the Clinical Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses patient signs and symptoms indicating changes in condition
  • Collects and interprets data from healthcare members
  • Documents patient care plans and nursing diagnoses
  • Implements nursing interventions according to priorities and standards
  • Revises care plans based on evaluations and medical changes
  • Establishes care priorities using clinical judgment
  • Performs other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of Texas
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Nurse experience preferred
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
  • Enteral feeds
