The RN Director Progressive Care Unit at Doctors Hospital of Augusta is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through effective oversight of departmental functions and staffing. This leadership role involves budget monitoring, strategy implementation, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall function and staffing of the Progressive Care Unit
  • Ensure high-quality patient care
  • Forecast and plan departmental needs
  • Monitor budget and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability

Required skills

  • BLS certification
  • Current registered nurse license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of acute care nursing experience; critical care experience preferred
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
