Job Description

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab at Saint Agnes Medical Center is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process. This full-time role includes working day shifts and requires appropriate licensure and certifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Expand scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing after educational preparation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
  • Handle varying issues and work effectively as part of a team

Required skills

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
