Overview

UCHealth is seeking a part-time RN for the Acute Care Oncology unit in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care through direct patient interaction in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
  • Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Model nursing proficiency by precepting new healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
  • Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification within 1 year of hire
  • BLS and CPR certification
  • Experience in patient care and nursing practice
