Job Description

Overview

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift RN for its Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry unit in Roswell, Georgia. The RN Clinical Nurse will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, individualized patient care, guided by evidence-based practices and the Wellstar Professional Practice Model.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care.
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Engage in effective interdisciplinary communication and documentation to ensure safe quality patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and promote teamwork and collaboration within the healthcare team.
  • Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new nursing staff and students.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and contribute to nursing research.
  • Plan proactively for patient care across various settings.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and standards.

Required skills

  • Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
