Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint Joseph Health System provides both direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory setting, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population. The role involves collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement nursing interventions and educate patients, aligning with their overall care plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory setting

  • Address the comprehensive needs of a diverse patient population

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, diploma, or BSN)
  • Current Indiana RN license or active RN license from another state with endorsement in progress
  • CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days
  • Minimum of six months of recent experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Experience across multiple clinical areas is also preferred
