Petra Construction Corporation is looking for an experienced Contracts & Risk Manager to lead the company's construction contract administration, risk management, and compliance functions. This role involves negotiating and overseeing contracts, minimizing risk exposure, and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations within the fast-paced construction sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead construction contract administration, risk management, and corporate compliance functions
  • Negotiate, execute, and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Manage insurance compliance processes to protect the company's interests
  • Collaborate with company leadership, project management, and accounting departments
  • Support operational best practices across all projects and departments

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in construction law, contract negotiation, and risk management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, DocuSign, and Bluebeam
  • Ability to learn new industry software such as Procore and Trimble Unity
  • College degree in business, law, or a related field
