Overview

Amarx Search, Inc. is seeking an RF Design Electrical Engineer for a direct hire, full-time role located in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will possess over 4 years of RF Engineering experience and is expected to support military communication products throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with multifunctional teams to diagnose and solve various engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and conduct engineering experiments and analyze test results
  • Mitigate component shortages through circuit redesign
  • Work in cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturability and testability
  • Assist in launching new designs into production
  • Lead investigations and coordinate tasks among junior staff
  • Troubleshoot units, modules, and boards to the component level
  • Generate and deliver presentations regarding issues and improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 4+ years of RF engineering experience
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills with analog and RF components
  • Design and analysis using ADS and MATLAB
  • Experience leading technical design teams
  • Ability to use lab equipment including Oscilloscope, DMM, and spectrum analyzers
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW, ADS, and Jira (desired)
