Job Description

Overview

Amazon is seeking a Reverse Logistics Coordinator to facilitate the non-inventory movement of technology returns globally. This role involves providing timely resolutions to issues, effective communication with stakeholders, and enhancing customer experience while working within the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage reverse logistics ticketing queue and resolve customer inquiries on equipment returns and lifecycle requests
  • Communicate continually with internal and external customers, including carriers and suppliers
  • Create narratives outlining findings on shipment inquiries and maintain updated correspondence on tickets
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to improve efficiency in transportation operations
  • Escalate problems systematically and ensure resolution delivery
  • Perform data analysis and ad hoc reporting using various data management systems including Excel, Access, and SQL
  • Develop and share performance metrics and dashboards
  • Work collaboratively with tech teams to outline business and functional requirements

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 1+ years of transportation and supply chain experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to pull and analyze data from multiple databases
  • Basic understanding of logistics principles
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making based on data trends
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds and endure shifts lasting up to 12 hours
