The Revenue Integrity Auditor at Baptist Health is responsible for auditing patient bills and medical record documentation to ensure accuracy in charging according to billing and coding guidelines. Key responsibilities

  • Audit patient bills and medical record documentation
  • Ensure accurate charging based on billing and coding guidelines
  • Verify potential missing charges suggested by data analytics
  • Utilize spreadsheet software such as Excel for data analysis

Required skills

  • RHIT, LPN, CCS, CPC, CPC-H, or COC certification
  • Two years acute hospital inpatient and outpatient coding and/or charge auditing experience
  • Two years data analysis experience using Excel
  • Knowledge of billing guidelines from various payers
  • Familiarity with charge master methodologies
  • Understanding of clinical and medical terminology
  • Strong attention to detail
