Overview

Intuit is looking for highly motivated individuals to join their team as Retail Tax Experts in a seasonal role across various TurboTax locations in the United States. This position combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on acquiring new customers and providing them with guidance on their tax needs, all while supporting Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.'

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador, engaging with prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation services and advice for various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term trust with clients.
  • Work both in-person and virtually using Intuit's communication tools.
  • Participate in local marketing efforts and lead community events.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience filing at least 50 federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus
