Overview

Intuit is seeking dedicated Retail Tax Experts to join their TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role involves providing tax preparation services and advice, building relationships with clients in the community, and contributing to Intuit's mission of powering prosperity. The position requires on-site presence, engaging with customers both in-person and virtually, and fostering their financial well-being through expert knowledge and community involvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, building local relationships and representing the brand.
  • Engage with potential clients and convert leads into long-term customers through outreach and local events.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and understanding of financial goals.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
  • Knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230
  • Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
