Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts for a seasonal role in TurboTax locations across the United States. The position combines tax expertise and community engagement, focusing on establishing long-term relationships with clients and helping them navigate their tax needs while promoting Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." Tax Experts will work on-site and leverage TurboTax resources to provide comprehensive tax services to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with potential clients and representing the brand locally.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, including personal and business income tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by building trust and addressing client inquiries.
  • Utilize TurboTax marketing support and CRM tools to grow customer portfolio and engagement.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or practicing attorney credential with tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more 1040 tax returns per season using tax software.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Flexible availability for a 25-34 hour workweek, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with technology and tax preparation software.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
