Overview

Intuit is hiring Retail Tax Experts to join their team in Chicago, Illinois on a seasonal basis. This role involves providing tax expertise and supporting community engagement at TurboTax locations, helping customers navigate their tax needs and establishing long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a Community Ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by connecting with clients and addressing inquiries.
  • Build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax associate and create accessible tax-related content.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, including CRM and sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
