Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Retail Tax Expert - On-Site, which focuses on providing tax expertise and customer service while operating from TurboTax locations. This seasonal position aims to support customers through their tax needs and promote TurboTax's services within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, managing both simple and complex tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover potential deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by connecting with clients and addressing their inquiries with professionalism.
  • Build long-term client relationships, turning one-time transactions into loyal engagements.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with tax laws and regulations, including Circular 230.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset focused on customer portfolio growth through outreach.
