Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join the team as Retail Tax Experts. This role involves working seasonally at TurboTax locations, providing tax advice and return preparation services, and helping customers achieve positive financial outcomes. The position emphasizes community engagement and building long-term relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax and engage with new prospects
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for various tax situations
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide tax planning advice
  • Create exceptional customer experiences and connect with clients both in-person and virtually
  • Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges
  • Build and maintain a client portfolio through proactive outreach and local marketing events

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficient in professional tax preparation software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
