Job Description

Overview

The Retail Supervisor at Aramark manages a team at the Grand Canyon North Rim, overseeing daily operations, customer interactions, and inventory management. Due to circumstances from a recent natural disaster, team members will need to use their personal RV for housing during their assignment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervises receiving and tagging of incoming merchandise
  • Assigns daily tasks and ensures they are performed timely and accurately
  • Coordinates moving incoming merchandise to retail areas
  • Maintains customer service standards
  • Handles cashier duties as needed
  • Leads special projects and communicates new product information
  • Conducts periodic inventory counts and reconciles packing slips
  • Schedules staff and manages break coverage

Required skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Point of Sale (POS) system familiarity, specifically Micros
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and merchandising
