Overview

The Retail Store Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the store, managing a team of sales workers and ensuring excellent customer service. This full-time, permanent position requires a hands-on leader to address customer inquiries and complaints while maintaining inventory and sales reports.

Key responsibilities

  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
