This role requires someone with strong retail experience, excellent merchandising instincts, and the ability to manage both people and product in a high-volume, open-warehouse environment. The Store Manager will be responsible for setting the tone for store operations, ensuring floor accountability, and delivering an organized and consistent shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead all daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and floor execution. Manage and develop store team members, including direct oversight of the Assistant Manager. Maintain high merchandising standards and oversee product presentation, restocking, and organization. Be physically present on the floor, leading by example and actively supporting the customer experience. Handle store openings and closings, cash handling, and daily walkthroughs. Oversee layout adjustments and traffic flow strategies, especially during high-volume weekends and reseller-heavy hours. Collaborate with ownership or leadership to identify areas for operational improvement. Candidate Profile: 3+ years of experience in retail management, ideally in an off-price or warehouse-style retail setting. Strong merchandising skills and a good eye for product presentation. Passion for fashion and customer engagement. Comfortable working weekends, extended shifts, and leading during high-volume times. Previous experience at retailers such as TJX, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's, or similar is highly preferred. Hands-on, organized, and capable of creating a structured, accountable team culture.
