Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate at Lowe's, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their home improvement needs. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and wish to help them find the right products and solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
  • Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
  • Down stock merchandise and replenish supplies
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately
  • Cross-train in other areas of the store
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer needs
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 6 months experience using a computer
  • Experience with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing or sitting
  • Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred
  • Certification in trade related to department preferred
