Job Description

Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate at Lowe's in Kahului, Hawaii, you will provide exceptional customer service while helping shoppers find the right products for their home improvement projects. This part-time role focuses on engaging with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and assisting with various tasks throughout the store.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and deliver friendly customer service
  • Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
  • Restock merchandise on shelves and replenish supplies
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately
  • Cross-train in other areas of the store
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer needs
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout
  • Complete other assigned duties

Required skills

  • 6 months experience using a computer and common retail technology
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing or sitting
  • Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation
  • 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual skills and trade certifications are a plus
